School Exclusion Appeals

Children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are five times more likely than their peers to be excluded from school. Most of whom special educational needs are unmet. Black students and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds are twice as likely to be excluded from school. Parents and guardians can write to the school’s governing body to challenge the exclusion. Fairest-Futures aims to ensure that children are not excluded from school because of circumstances outside of their control such as disability, ethnicity and socioeconomic background.

Our Services

At Fairest-Futures we write convincing and compelling letters articulating why the school exclusion should be overturned. We attend meetings with the governing body to advocate on behalf of the parent or guardian and student.
